Crops advance after hot, dry week
Crops across the province have shown some significant progress due to the hot conditions over the past week or so.
The Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture’s latest Crop Report showed that crop conditions remain variable, with most in good condition.
However, the report said the heat also had a negative impact on drier areas.
Haying efforts in many areas were challenged due to the humid conditions, while some areas of the south have wrapped up haying.
