Canadian Western Agribition (CWA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sociedad Rural Argentina (SRA), one of Argentina’s most influential agricultural organizations and host of the renowned Palermo International Livestock Exhibition.

The agreement formalizes a cooperative relationship between two internationally recognized livestock organizations committed to advancing global agriculture through collaboration, innovation, and business development.

CWA CEO Shaun Kindopp said Agribition has always been a place where international business happens.

“Partnering with Sociedad Rural Argentina expands our global network and creates valuable opportunities for knowledge sharing and relationship building between two respected livestock industries,” Kindopp said.

The partnership establishes a framework for ongoing cooperation between the Canadian and Argentine livestock sectors. Through reciprocal promotion, business-to-business engagement, commercial delegations, and the exchange of industry best practices, both organizations hope to create new opportunities for producers, breeders, researchers, and agricultural businesses.

The agreement also encourages collaboration between the organizations outside of their annual events, including the exchange of expertise in the areas of international hospitality, business development strategies, and event management.

KIndopp said CWA and SRA share a commitment to supporting producers, strengthening international partnerships, and creating opportunities that benefit the global beef industry.

“We look forward to welcoming representatives from Sociedad Rural Argentina to Agribition and continuing to strengthen the relationship between our organizations in the years ahead,” he added

The MOU remains in effect until July 31, 2028.
