Grain Act Review consultation open through April

GRANDE PRAIRIE, Alta. – An online consultation on the federal government’s review of the Canada Grain Act will be open through April 30.

It is being done through Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s website.

Producer payment options, licensing of grain buyers, and inspections and weighing are some of the topics included in a discussion paper.

The Alberta Canola Producers Commission is encouraging farmers to take part and says it welcomes the review.
