Ag roundup for Friday, September 18
The provincial crop report shows that harvest progress ground to a halt last week.
Just 32 percent of the crop is in the bin province-wide, well short of the five-year and 10-year averages of 71 and 63 per cent.
Some areas are even further behind due to the rainfall, says provincial crops extension specialist Augustine Osei.
That includes the northeast, where producers have taken just nine per cent of the crop off.
