Saskatchewan is looking to build relationships amid tariff threats from the United States.
The provincial government says relationship building is becoming just as important as the sale of products.
Trade and Exports Minister Warren Kaeding said the province is working to strengthen trade ties with partners like China, while at the same time pushing for a unified front against the ongoing U.S. tariff disputes.
He claimed that the province’s expanding international trade office network is helping to diversify exports with the continuing global trade uncertainty looming.
