The gardening and planting ‘Obsession’ continues despite ongoing COVID-19 pandemic

ATTENTION….WE ARE NOW OPEN!

The greenhouses and gift store will be open to the public on Saturday April 24th.

Hours of operation will be from 9am to 8pm daily Sunday through Friday and Saturday 9am to 7pm. We will be following proper COVID-19 safety precautions as set out by the provincial government, including social distancing requirements and the number of customers in the buildings.

We ask that all customers please use the sanitizing stations that will be set up prior to entering and exiting the property. Access to the greenhouses will be through the front gate with single directional shopping taking place to ensure everyone’s safety. This process worked well last spring and we appreciate your understanding, patience and most of all for supporting your local businesses.

Obsession Greenhouses and Gift Store is located in St. Louis, 20 minutes south of Prince Albert. They are ready for the busy season and business will look different again this year with required safety precautions in place.

“Our greenhouses are not large, and it will be very important for our customers to keep that six-foot distance We will be limiting the number of people into the gift store as per COVID-19 restriction.” Rancourt said.

Even with the COVID-19 restrictions in place, Obsession Greenhouses and Gift Store has seen an increase in business this past year and thank their loyal and new customers for their ongoing support. With more time on people’s hands, gardening and enjoying beautiful plants has seen an insurgence. Gardening can be a hobby, but it can also be therapeutic. Rancourt said the calmness and beauty that comes along with gardening and growing your own plants can have a positive impact on anyone, especially during these times.
