World Egg Day helps to raise awareness of the benefits of eggs and their importance in human nutrition.
There are more than 1,000 farmers and farm families across Canada who produce fresh, local, high-quality eggs.
Alice McFarlane with Ag Access visited the Harman Egg farm north of Humboldt during an Egg Farmers of Canada event in September. Alice had a chance to tour the Harman facilities and then sat down with owner Shawn Harmon to talk eggs.
