Mental health training among producers open for applications
Applications are open for the Do More Ag and Farm Credit Canada rural mental health training program.
The program offers training and workshops to community members on how to identify mental health concerns among producers.
Executive Director Adelle Stewart said it is important to bring this training to rural areas.
“Improve mental health literacy so we can create a network and community of people that can support each other when professional access can be quite limited,” Stewart said.
