The Do More Ag Foundation and Farm Credit Canada, rural mental health training program is accepting applications.

Individual applications along with community leaders being able to apply for their community are available.

Online applications can be filled out at domore.ag.

Saskatchewan feeder cattle prices were showing upward movement this past week.

Provincial cattle specialist Leah Clark says lower feed costs and rising futures were factors behind the jump.

“Lower barley prices again this week, more feed inventory than anticipated and the big one is overall increases in futures both nearby and further out,” Clark said.

There were 7,890 head of cattle sold in Saskatchewan over the week, up from over 6,000 last week but down from 9,000 the same week in 2018.
