North West Terminal near Unity plans to reopen Monday after fire
The North West Terminal grain facility near Unity plans to be open again for business as soon as Monday after dealing with a fire at the site Thursday.
Unity Fire Department firefighters were at the location off Highway 14 East from about 7:30 a.m. to about 4:30 p.m. putting out the fire that broke out in the terminal’s dryer.
Controller Holly Bannerman said the company appreciates the efforts of the firefighters in quelling the blaze.
“We would like to thank the Unity Fire Department and all the volunteers that came out for their efforts and dedication in helping us get it under control,” she told battlefordsNOW Friday.
