Listen: Funding for livestock/forage research

Researchers will have the funds to work towards improving the health and safety for animals and reduce the environmental impact of livestock farming.

These are just a few of the 28 projects to receive $8.1 million to spend on research.

The announcement was made yesterday at the Saskatchewan Beef Industry conference in Saskatoon.

Alice McFarlane with Ag Access spoke to Saskatchewan Agriculture Minister David Marit about some of the projects he’s particularly interested in.
