Opportunities for yellow pea growers

Many farmers were disappointed when Roquette decided to build its large pea protein processing plant in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba rather than in Saskatchewan.

Roquette’s senior agronomist Bruce Brolley made a presentation at CropSphere in Saskatoon last week.

He said the company is interested in buying peas from certain parts of Saskatchewan.
