Agriculture Roundup for Tuesday September 17, 2019
Farmers can start pulling canola plants looking for symptoms of clubroot.
The clubroot galls start to breakdown after swathing so checking now is the right time.
Growers can have a free soil sample sent in for testing. SaskCanola is covering the cost as part of the provincial clubroot monitoring program.
Kits are available through SaskCanola or at a regional Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture Office.
