Listen: Field day provides information to farmers

The annual field day just south of Melfort on Wednesday is more than just a great, free lunch.

The North East Agriculture Research Foundation (NARF) and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) combine to host the event to highlight some of the projects they’ve been working on.

Registration begins at the research farm 8:30 a.m. with the tour to follow at 9 a.m. with the event wrapping up with lunch.

Jessica Pratchler is the Research Manager with NARF. She talks to Alice McFarlane about some of plots they’ll visit on Wednesday and the Forage Field Day also at Ag Canada on Thursday afternoon.
