Man dies in an agricultural accident in southwestern Manitoba

Manitoba RCMP said a 66-year-old man has died in a farming accident.

Blue Hills RCMP said the man appears to have been struck by farming equipment in the rural municipality of Glenboro South Cypress, about 170 kilometres west of Winnipeg.

Police said the man was from the nearby community of Ninette, Man. RCMP and Manitoba Workplace Health and Safety are investigating the death.

RCMP also responded to a farming death in June, when a 68-year-old man became entangled with machinery at a commercial farming business.
