Saskatchewan Open Farm Days are taking place August 8th and 9th.

There are over 35 host locations across the province taking part.

That includes farms, craft beverage producers, and more, and they’re all opening their gates to connect consumers with local food producers.

There is a bus tour departing from Saskatoon or Swift Current, courtesy UFA.

Tickets are 30 dollars for adults and 15 for youth 15 and under, and that includes transportation and lunch.

Full event listings and travel itineraries are now live on the Saskatchewan Open Farm Days website.

There is a warning out in the rural municipality of Fish Creek.

A bear has killed several calves in the southeast corner of the R.M., near Cudworth.

Farmers, visitors and residents are being urged to use extreme caution, and keep their children and pets close.
