Manitoba Government extends funding to Gate
The Manitoba Government will provide an addition $10.5 million in funding for the Global Agriculture Technology Exchange (Gate).
This brings the total pledged by the province to $23.5 million.
Cereals Canada CEO Dean Dias said the contribution towards Gate is appreciated.
“I would like to thank the province for its continued support of Gate, and Premier Wab Kinew for championing this project over the last nine months,” Dias said. “Today’s announcement puts us another step closer to getting shovels in the ground at a critical time for Canadian agriculture.”
