Shylah Sitter of Edam, Sask. crowned the 2026 Miss Rodeo Agribition

There’s something in the water in Edam, Sask.

Canadian Western Agribition crowned Shylah Sitter as the 2026 Miss Rodeo Agribition during the first performance of the Maple Leaf Circuit Finals Rodeo.

Sitter becomes the second individual from Edam to win the crown, after current Miss Rodeo Agribition and Miss Rodeo Canada, Abbey Harty.

Sitter competed against two other women through the two-day competition that assessed horsemanship, public speaking, industry knowledge, and interview skills.

As Miss Rodeo Agribition 2026, Sitter will represent CWA at rodeos and ag-related events across Western Canada, meeting with fans and industry partners while championing Agribition and the Maple Leaf Circuit Finals Rodeo. She will also have the opportunity to compete for the Miss Rodeo Canada title.

Sitter said she is still absorbing the entire experience.

“Just being involved in this whole program has been a dream of mine, and I never thought it would come true. I am so excited to be able to represent Saskatchewan, and work with all these lovely people that I’ve met along the way so far in the last three days,” Sitter said. “It’s been absolutely amazing.”

Launched in 2023-24, the Miss Rodeo Agribition competition was created to empower young women in Saskatchewan and beyond by offering training, mentorship, and a platform to build confidence and industry relationships.

Over its first three years, the program has focused on developing well-rounded ambassadors, strengthening their public speaking skills, encouraging community engagement, and helping them forge meaningful connections across agriculture and western lifestyle sectors.
