Policy conference cancelled over coronavirus
An annual agricultural conference is being postponed over COVID-19.
Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS) announced the midterm policy forum, scheduled for March 16 and 17 in Saskatoon will be put on hold.
APAS President Todd Lewis said the organization wants to protect the general public.
“Our goal is to help reduce the potential spread of infection amongst our members and the public,” Lewis said in a news release. “Our members would have been travelling from small communities across the province for this event and we want to minimize the potential spread of infection as much as possible.”
