The Canadian Western Agribition (CWA) has found its new CEO.

Shaun Kindopp will officially take over the role on Aug. 2, 2022, for the largest livestock show in Canada.

“I am incredibly honoured to be joining an organization with such a prestigious reputation and brand across Canada,” Kindopp said. “Last year’s 50th-anniversary show was incredible, and I am looking forward to carrying that positive momentum into this year’s event.”

He’s spent 10 years in the event and entertainment industry, most previously serving as the Director of Corporate Partnerships and Sales for Regina Exhibition Association Limited. Before that role, he worked with the Regina Pats for five years.

“(Kindopp’s) time in the events industry, corporate sales experience, and passion for the community make him a great fit for Agribition,” added Kim Hextall, CWA President.

Kindopp also takes over just a few months ahead of the 2022 show which is slated to take place between Nov. 28 and Dec. 3.
