The fate of Canada’s Farm Show 2020 at Evraz Place is being considered.

Regina Exhibition Association President and CEO Tim Reid said a decision on whether to go ahead with the show will be made today.

Several public events have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Reid said they’re projecting an 85 per cent loss in revenues because of the health crisis.

The Western Canadian Wheat Growers (WCWG) have released its fiftieth anniversary book, Warriors For Wheat.

WCWG was founded in 1970 and has been engaged in agriculture policy at both the federal and provincial level. It has also been instrumental in several significant policy changes.

The book was originally scheduled to be released at the 50th anniversary convention, but due to COVID-19, the convention has been postponed until November.
