Bibeau stays in ag portfolio

Status quo for the agriculture department after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau named his cabinet today.
Marie-Claude Bibeau will remain minister of agriculture after taking over from Lawrence MacAuley in the March cabinet shuffle.
Other notable appointments have Chrystia Freeland named deputy prime minister and minister of intergovernmental affairs. She had served in foreign affairs.
Former trade minister Jim Carr, who is receiving treatment for blood cancer, is stepping outside of cabinet to take on a new role as the prime minister’s special representative for the Prairies. Mary Ng takes on small business, export promotion and international trade.
