The Canadian Federation of Agriculture is hosting a national agriculture leaders’ debate on Tuesday.

The federation said representatives from the Liberal Party of Canada, Conservative Party of Canada, the New Democratic Party and the Green Party of Canada will share their policy positions on issues that matter most to Canadian farmers.

The debate starts at 5 p.m. and will be available live on both the federation’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

A grain facility near Moose Jaw has been named Canadian Pacific’s Elevator of the Year.

G-3 Pasqua has been in operation since 2016.

The CPR presents the award annually to the elevator that achieves high volumes from a single loading point while consistently demonstrating efficient railcar loading and a strong commitment to safety.

Winnipeg based G-3 Canada was formed following the privatization of the Canadian Wheat Board.
