Chicken nuggets recalled over possible salmonella risk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a food recall for Compliments brand uncooked chicken nuggets.

The CFIA issued the recall Wednesday, saying the chicken nuggets could be contaminated with salmonella. Consumers are being advised not to eat the affected products.

The recall is for the 1.5 kg. bags of chicken nuggets. The affected products contain the codes 2019 JL 18 on the outer package and
1998M on the inner package. The UPC is 0 55742 33690 0

Consumers are being advised to check their freezers for the recalled products.
