Clubroot map released
The provincial government has released a map showing the spread of a serious canola plant disease in Saskatchewan.
A clubroot survey discovered symptoms in 43 canola fields and the pathogen in soil from another three fields. That number is up from 37 the previous year.
The most serious cases were found in the northwest part of the province. Clubroot was also found in the Saskatoon and Rosetown districts as well as northeast of Yorkton.
Saskatchewan agriculture minister David Marit said the survey shows where the most serious cases are located.
