Agribition teaching students new skills

Learning is fun at Canadian Western Agribition (CWA).

There is an extensive education program at the show with the FamilyAgPavilion, Indigenous Pavilion and Education Expo.

CWA CEO Chris Land said they will set a new record with over 10,000 school-aged children visiting the show.

“We’re really excited about that. That’s such an important part of what Agribition is and I think we have a role to play as a platform for education and advocacy around agriculture and the work producers in this province are doing,” Lane said. “People talk about the first time they went to Agribition with their class or when they were a kid and what it was like. We want to keep building on that and I think it’s important for the future of our organization to always be building that kind of connection with young kids.”
