Conference looks at water sustainability

Leading experts from around the world are in Saskatoon this week to discuss water management and sustainable agriculture.

The Canadian Water Resources Association and the Canadian Committee for Irrigation and Drainage are hosting a conference in Saskatoon to look at climate change and issues affecting water.

Topics on the agenda at the conference include high efficiency irrigation systems, sustainable water management, soil moisture and drought resilience.

Attendees will also be touring area farms and looking at new strategies and ideas around irrigation, drainage and water security.
