CHILLIWACK, B.C.– Two Fraser Valley companies, one of which is headquartered in Chilliwack, have announced a strategic partnership they say will deliver fully integrated, design-driven solutions for growers and dairy farmers across Western Canada.

In a statement, Chilliwack-based Delta Irrigation, a subsidiary of Delta Water Products, and Agassiz-based West Coast Robotics have agreed to a strategic relationship that will further their shared goal of collaboration in farm infrastructure by implementing solutions from the field to the barn.

The alliance will bring Delta Irrigation’s experience in irrigation design and project installations with West Coast Robotics’ advanced dairy automation and smart farm technologies

The statement says that by aligning their expertise in irrigation, water management, farm automation and robotics, the partnership will facilitate a highly collaborative approach to farm infrastructure.

For producers, this means enhanced coordination between field and barn systems, clearer decision-making, and solutions designed to improve labour efficiency, water use, and long-term farm performance.

“By combining West Coast Robotics’ automation expertise with Delta Water Products’ deep knowledge of irrigation, water infrastructure, and its trusted distribution network, we can deliver the right solution for every producer. This collaboration is the first step toward a fully integrated, data-driven system connecting the field to the barn,” said Brian Rodenburg, CEO of West Coast Robotics.

The partnership reflects more than a year of thoughtful collaboration and a shared commitment to supporting farmers with practical guidance and integrated system design.

“I have high regard for Brian and the WCR brand and am looking forward to working closely with the WCR team to better serve our customers across Western Canada,” said Chilliwack resident Chris Les, CEO of Delta Water Products. “WCR’s strength in automation combined with our focus on irrigation will create powerful solutions for Western Canadian farmers. Combining WCR’s strength in automation with our focus on irrigation allows us to deliver more thoughtful, integrated solutions for today’s farms.”

“At the heart of this partnership is that farmers deserve the best possible advice and solutions that are right for their operation. In combining our resources and technical expertise, we have enhanced our ability to collaborate more deeply at the farm level to design integrated systems that truly fit each farm and farmer,” said Larry Les, Executive Board Chair, Delta Water Products.

As labour shortages, water efficiency demands, and automation adoption hasten across agriculture, the companies say integrated solutions are becoming even more essential for farm sustainability. Both companies say they look forward to growing the partnership and expanding the market reach for the brands and services that they provide.

Established in 2007, West Coast Robotics Ltd. provides advanced dairy automation technology, including Lely Group robotic equipment and 360 RAIN irrigation systems. The company focuses on improving productivity, sustainability, and quality of life for dairy farmers through innovative technology, expert advice, and responsive service.
