Western Canadian Crop Production Show returns to Saskatoon with plenty of new exhibits

The Western Canadian Crop Production Show is back for another year at Prairieland Park in Saskatoon from Tuesday through Thursday.

The three-day event brings together exhibitors from across the country to showcase the latest technologies in the world of farming.

Since the event launched in 1983, the show has grown in size, and now boasts about 340 exhibitors and close to 20,000 attendees each year.

Leigh Ann Hurlburt, Prairieland Park agriculture manager, said the event will feature some notable changes this year.

“The layout is totally different, and we have a few new exhibitors that haven’t been here for a while,” she said.

“Some exhibits have brought some brand-new equipment, so it’s going to be very exciting.”

Hurlburt said there will be a lot of new things to see at the 2026 show.

“Highline Manufacturing is bringing a new rock picker that they’re just launching, which is very exciting,” Hurlburt said.

“I know that Bourgault is launching some changes for them in their air seeder. They don’t have their big air seeder here, but they are doing a big product launch, and just outside the show office in Hall D is a product that Adair Sales & Marketing is just handling, and it’s new to them as well. They have a very large blade that is used for irrigation and land drainage, so it’s pretty interesting, and it’s only the third one ever built.”

When it comes to the differences between the Western Canadian Crop Production Show and other major events like Agribition, Hurlburt says the focus of the upcoming show is on one thing and one thing only.

“This show is focused on crop production,” she said.

“All of our exhibitors are related to the farm. There may be farm buildings, but most of it is all about the production of crops… whether it’s seed marketing, equipment, building or storage.”

The three-day event runs from Tuesday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday.

Day passes cost $22 and can be purchased online or at the door.
