B&C Trenching Ltd. has taken pride in operating their business in the Battlefords since it was founded in 1987 by the late Ray Bolig & Wayne Cook. The groundwork that was done by Ray Bolig and Wayne Cook laid the foundation that the company lives and breathes by today.  Holding strong to the examples set, and working daily with the values of integrity, fairness, perseverance and reliability in mind B&C Trenching is proud to still be in operating after 34 years.

Now in its second generation of family ownership, Wayne’s son Tyler and his wife, Jennifer, are at the helm of B&C Trenching Ltd.  Family has been drilled into the DNA of the company.  Tyler began his journey in the business when he was just a child, learning the machinery, techniques, and soaking up the knowledge that his father had gained. The Cook family is carrying on the tradition, as the 3^rd generation Cook their son Beritt, is already learning the business while still in high school.

As it was when the company was launched, they take pride in being the Northwest’s go-to underground utility contractor.  Over the years the business has evolved from Backhoes and Trenchers to include Horizontal Directional Drilling, HydroVac and Mini Excavation. One thing that has not changed over the years is the importance of keeping their small team rooted here in the Battlefords. The business has the versatility and the team to get your underground construction projects completed.

B&C Trenching’s has been fortunate to work side by side with local businesses, collaborating with farmers, local contractors and larger provincial corporations including SaskPower, SaskTel, SaskEnergy and the Department of Highways. This team has specific knowledge and experience to provide farmers and contractors with the steady hand they need to complete any new upgrades on the farm, property or business.
