Cool weather delays crop progress
Mother Nature was not particularly kind this past weekend.
Farmers received below normal temperatures and high winds over the weekend. There were reports of frost in the eastern part of the province in the Yorkton region and -2 Celsius in the Speers and Hafford area.
Lyle Cowell, the northeast manager of agronomy services for Nutrien Ag Solutions, said the northeast has been fortunate to escape frost.
