4-H members from across Saskatchewan compete for scholarships
The Prairieland Youth Leadership Conference presented $12,000 in scholarships to Saskatchewan 4-H members over the weekend.
Forty-six members took part in a number of events that focused on leadership, interactive, competitive and social skills. A panel of judges selected the top five.
Brett Rumpell from Craven finished in first place and received a $4,500 scholarship. Rumpell is a member of the Long Laketon Multiple 4-H club. She is in her first year at the University of Saskatchewan where she is majoring in agricultural biology.
